07 Jan An Essay in Reader’s Digest

I was so happy to have an essay entitled “Grandma’s Slice of Love” appear in the November issue of Reader’s Digest. The essay was about my grandmother, her love of baking and how I learned about our family – and how much she loved me – when we were together in her kitchen. Both of my grandmothers not only read Reader’s Digest but they had stacked copies of issues (that went back decades) everywhere, especially at our log cabin in the Missouri Ozarks. I know my grandmas are thrilled about this and are probably placing this issue on top of all the stacks in heaven.  To read the essay, click here.
