Danke Schoen & Grazie!

This summer, I took my first extended, non-work-related vacation in nearly a decade. I spent a glorious few weeks in Italy (Capri and the Amalfi Coast, which will likely figure in a future book!), drinking wine, eating pasta, visiting villages. The trip was more amazing than I could have imagined, and the sites more stunning than I dreamed. But perhaps the biggest highlight was finally being able to hold my books in Italy and Germany, where they have been on the bestseller lists. I was stunned to find my books literally everywhere in Germany especially, even at the airports in Frankfurt and Munich. They were stacked in the front of bookstores and on the bestseller tables. After being delayed and exhausted after a long flight, I cried a little bit when I saw them. This is me holding the German version of The Hope Chest in the airport (my hair held up well after 10 hours on the plane!).
